Now dressed in lighter garments, Helios hurried back to his office.

He had on a loose-fitted shirt while his hair was swept up to reveal his forehead, and seeing him a bit disheveled made him look more approachable and comfortable to be around.

“Miss Popo.”

He entered and called out to Sera with a low voice.

He would always call her name with a gentle voice, just as he would with his younger siblings.

And she, in turn, would reply with a very cheerful, ‘Yes, Your Majesty!’

But as he was instead met with silence here, Helios approached Sera’s side with slow steps.

“Ah.”

And when he finally saw Sera, the previously despondent Helios felt a small tug on the corners of his lips, making a soft smile.

‘So she’s sleeping.’

Sera was dozing off while sitting on a chair, and her head was drooping to the left.

Her eyes were shut tight.

Gentle breaths could also be heard through her small, pink lips.

‘Should I wake her up’

Faced with a dilemma, Helios looked at how Sera seemed to be uncomfortable like that.

With her sleeping deeply like that, he thought that there seemed to be no sign of her waking up any time soon.

Still, it would be better to wake her up if there was any sign of movement on her part.

“Miss Popo.”

Helios carefully whispered her name once more.

However, as she slumbered deeply, her breathing remained even.

‘There’s still time left until the carriage comes to fetch her, so it could be nicer for her to sleep a while longer.’

After glancing at the clock for a moment, he looked back at her with a sympathetic smile.

She looked very tired.

He sat on his desk, setting down the comfortable clothes and shoes that were brought by a maid.

From this spot, the sleeping Sera’s face could be seen clearly.

‘Still though, doesn’t that look uncomfortable’

He reached out to fix the position of her head so that it wouldn’t be tilted at an odd angle anymore.

With his hand on her cheek, there was a soft murmur of, ‘Mmmh.’

Her reaction made Helios’ hand freeze where it was.

In the first place, this was something that he would never do if she was awake.

But soon, without any panic, he gently raised her head so that her neck would be less strained.

Satisfied by this, Helios’ lips unconsciously drew up into an arc.

Helios rose to his feet, one hand on the desk now.

He was about to go around and sit where he usually sat, but then something beneath the hem of Sera’s blue dress caught his eye.

He frowned at the sight of red blisters peppered on her skin.

The blue shoes, which had been placed neatly by her feet, also had faint blood stains inside them.

‘It must have been painful to walk like this.

That’s why when we went all the way here, you got slower every step.’

His expression grew stiffer and stiffer as he realized that Sera wasn’t just feeling uncomfortable in the heels, but in fact, she was injured.

Helios knelt down on one knee on the carpeted floor.

He was sharply aware of how he shouldn’t touch her without her permission, especially when she was sleeping so deeply, but this much should be fine.

He gingerly took one small foot out from beneath the dress.

“Haa.”

And the moment he saw those blisters on her feet, which were just as small as her hands, he couldn’t help but sigh.

He covered the injured foot with both his hands and immediately brought out his divine power.

The brilliant golden illumination of the divine power was conjured at his fingertips, and the light soon seeped into her skin.

He imbued the same divine power to her other foot, and in an instant, she was as unscathed as she originally was.

It was only then that Helios felt at ease.

Finally, Helios sat back down on his own seat, which was right across Sera.

Perhaps she was having a good dream because there was a small smile on her lips, and she truly looked pretty right now.

While taking a sip of the lukewarm black tea, a comfortable sense of languor washed over him.

“Rosé.

Rooo… sé”

Having been the first to wake up, Ferre tried to wake up Rosé as well.

She was lying on her stomach on the bed, still in the faraway land of her dreamscape.

She was wearing a white nightgown while hugging a stuffed bunny with drooping ears.

It seemed like she drooled a bit last night since one corner of her lips and her pillow were damp.

“Uuuuhhn.

‘M sleepy, Ferreee.”

As she was still dreaming of playing amidst fluffy clouds, Rosé wanted to stay in bed for a little while longer.

Rosé moved away from Ferre’s hands, which were determined to shake her awake.

She curled up like a small caterpillar and burrowed herself further into the sheets.

“Rooséee.”

“……”

“Rooséeeee.”

“……”

Whether she really couldn’t hear him or whether she was just pretending not to, Ferre was persistent and didn’t leave Rosé alone.

He tapped her shoulder and shook her body from side to side stronger this time.

“Quit it, Ferre.

I dun wanna.

‘M sleeping more.”

Rosé grumbled half-asleep, sounding annoyed.

“Just wake up a liiitle while.

Please, Rosé”

“I dun wanna!”

How could you disturb me while I’m up in the clouds! Rosé turned around on the bed to face him now.

As soon as she tried to glare at Ferre and made eye contact with him, Rosé was just shocked after seeing him.

Her eyes grew wide.

“Oh no! Ferre! Are you okay! What happened”

Ferre’s face and lips were so pale.

His purple eyes had tears pooling in them, and he collapsed back on the bed as though he had half-fallen down.

It was obvious that he had no energy.

“What’s wrong”

Rosé let go of her stuffed bunny and hurriedly sat up.

She clasped Ferre’s cheeks with her small hands.

She just thought that he was trying to wake her up early to play, just like how he usually did, but that’s not what’s happening here.

His cheeks felt hotter in her small hands as time passed.

He was also covered in cold sweat.

His pale complexion would turn red for a moment, and then would become as white as a sheet again.

When Ferre bit his lower lip, it was so pale that it looked like he’d draw blood any time soon.

“It hurts…”

Ferre’s voice, which sounded like there was no energy at all, was so hoarse.

“Where”

“My tummy hurts…”

“Your tummy”

“I dunno.

Just, my tummy hurts.

A lot.”

As he broke out in cold sweat, Ferre’s tears streamed down.

Maybe it’s a serious illness.

Rosé flinched and suddenly got very, very scared.
